Rolando Sánchez was born in Maracaibo in 1957 and grew up in Venezuela and Switzerland. He studied Film, Sociology and Ethnology at the University of Zurich and has worked on various film productions. His films are: An meiner Beerdi-gung will ich dich nicht weinen sehen (1992), Der Tross - im Windschatten der Tour de Suisse (co-author, 1994), Women-Traffic (documentary, 1995), Guevote - Wie ich mich fuehle, so bin ich (documentary, 1996).
